Mike Pelfrey vs. Dylan Axelrod

-Pelfrey was charged with five runs in four innings in his only career start vs. the ChiSox. He is 0-1 with a 4.34 ERA in last three starts. He is 3-6 with a 6.12 ERA on the season.

-Adam Dunn is 8-for-28 with two homers, five RBIs, seven walks and three strikeouts vs. Pelfrey.

-Dayan Viciedo is 1-for-2 with a homer.

-Axelrod is 1-0 with a 4.50 ERA in three career appearances vs. the Twins. He is 0-1 with 4.41 ERA in his last starts. The 27-year old is 3-4 on the season with 4.26 ERA in 13 starts. He will be making just his twenty-fourth career MLB start.

-Joe Mauer and Justin Morneau are both 3-for-4 against Axelrod in their careers.

-Eduardo Escobar is 1-for-4 with a homer.

Kevin Correia vs. Chris Sale

-Correia gave up four earned over seven innings in his only career start vs. Chicago. He is 0-0 4.00 ERA in his last three starts. He is 5-4 with a 3.98 ERA in 13 starts this season.

-Dunn is 4-for-12 with two homers and four strikeouts against Correia.

-Jeff Keppinger is 5-for-14 with a homer.

-Viciedo is 1-for-2 with a homer.

-Sale is 3-0 with a 0.93 ERA in 11 career appearances vs. the Twins. He is 1-2 with a 2.14 ERA in his last three starts. The 24-year old is 5-4 with a 2.68 ERA on the season.

-Mauer is 3-for-11 against Sale in his career.

-Brian Dozier is 1-for-4 with a homer.

-Morneau is 2-for-9.

-Josh Willingham is 1-for-12 with seven strikeouts.

Scott Diamond vs. John Danks

-Diamond is 3-4 with a 4.65 ERA in seven career appearances vs. Pale Hose. He is 1-1 with 5.87 ERA in his last three starts and he is 4-5 with a 5.19 ERA in 11 starts on the season.

-Alejandro De Aza is 7-for-14 against Diamond with three strikeouts.

-Dunn 3-for-12 with a homer and six strikeouts.

-Keppinger is 2-for-5 with a homer.

-Viciedo is 7-for-16 with a homer and four RBIs.

-Alex Rios is 7-for-19 with a homer.

-Danks is 6-9 with a 5.00 ERA in 21 starts against Minnesota.The six-year veteran is 1-2 with a 4.13 ERA in four starts on the season.

-Mauer is 18-for-48 with three doubles, six RBIs, four walks, and seven strikeouts vs. Danks.

-Morneau is 11-for-35 with three homers, ten RBIs, ten walks and eight strikeouts.
