Seattle started the season with a lot of promise. Off-season moves brought in slugging outfielder Michael Morse and the powerful 1B/DH Kendrys Morales. They also moved the fences in at Safeco Field. So many had visions of the mid-1990’s Coors Field. Going into Thursday they had hit 58 homers, which is ninth most in the league. The Twins have hit 42 homers. Both teams have similar records.
