-Diamond gave two earned runs in two innings of work in his only career appearances vs. Rangers.

-No current Ranger has more than three at-bats vs. Diamond

Alexi Ogando vs. Kevin Correia

-In seven relief appearances Ogando has eight strikeouts in six innings against Minnesota.

-No Twin has more three at-bats against Ogando

-Correia has a 3.68 ERA in two appearances vs. Texas

-Adrian Beltre is 4-for-10 with two homers off of Correia.

-Lance Berkman and Geovany Soto are both 3-for-11 with a homer piece against him.

The Rangers lost all-star outfielder Josh Hamilton this off-season who averaged a .314 batting average and 33 homers for Texas over the last three seasons. They still have plenty of pop though. Second Baseman Ian Kinsler, Right Fielder Nelson Cruz and Third Baseman Adrian Beltre have produced 30 homer seasons in the past. They also add the antique Lance Berkman who has 361 career homers to play DH.

Shortstop Elvis Andrus along with Kinsler present a lot of base stealer ability.

Center Fielder Leonys Martin is still yet to emerge has the threat he was projected to be.

The Twins are fortunate to avoid facing staff ace Yu Darvish.
