The Kansas City Royals have ended the red-hot win streak of the Atlanta Braves with a 1-0 win today in Atlanta. The Royals rode a spectacular start by starting pitching Wade Davis who allowed just five scattered hits over seven scoreless innings. Atlanta’s best records through a season’s first fourteen games came in 1982 and 1994 when both those years teams opened up with a 13-1 record. Despite the loss, the Braves are off to a very impressive start to the 20-13 season at 12-2, a full four games ahead of division rival Washington.
